Andrew Murphy:  Another year has passed and I want to thank you all for your continued support.  We have made great progress the past few years and I’d like to ask for your support to continue this progress.  I’ll do my best to continue to represent the Louisville Bicycle Club with integrity.  Let’s keep pedaling!  Thank you again for your support!

Bekki Livingston:  I have completed one year as club secretary (2015) and am willing to continue for another year if re-elected.  I learned a great deal about our club this year and appreciate all the volunteer hours from so many of you that go into running and maintaining such a diverse and successful club.  I would appreciate your support for another year.

Mark Rougeux:  I am willing to continue as treasurer of the club.

    VP Advocacy

Doug Brent:  I am happy to continue.

    VP Communications

David Ryan (PaCkMaN): As the current longest continually serving member of the Executive Committee, I thank you for your past support and ask you to return me for a 10th year.  I appreciate your confidence in my representation of your cycling interests on the board over the past 9 years.

    VP Education

David Wittry: I am writing to indicate my intention to run for the position of VP of Education. It is my desire to continue to teach the Bike Handling Classes and to continue to try to improve our outreach.

    VP Racing

Kevin Williams:  I‘m a graphic designer and have lived in Louisville my entire life.  I’ve been riding and racing since the 80’s but have only been active in the LBC since 2002 and racing with Team Louisville since 2005 – minus a couple of years racing with Twinspires.  I will be glad to continue as VP Racing for the 2016 season.

    VP Touring

Steve Rice:  I respectfully submit my candidacy for Vice President of Touring.  2015 was my second year as Vice President of Touring and I would like to continue in that role for 2016. I believe that the Louisville Bicycle Club should be very proud of the size and diversity of its touring schedule, and I hope to see it continue to grow in the future for all of our members, not only for beginners but also for the short and medium distance aficionados, as well as for veteran long distance cyclists and racers who compete on and off road.  Our club has one of the most prolific touring schedules in the United States year round, and my hope is that we can continue this great legacy for all LBC members to participate in for years to come.  Thank you for your consideration.

Old Kentucky Home Tour Sponsor Clarksville Schwinn & Fitness donated a CANNONDALE CAAD 10 road bicycle to the 2012 OKHT.  The winner, drawn Saturday at OKHT-Fest on the lawn at Spalding Hall, was Sarah Wilding of Frankfort, KY.  Congratulations, Sarah!  This bike was raffled off by the American Red Cross, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross.  Approximately 3600 chances were sold on the bike, an increase of 300 over the 2011 raffle!

We would like to thank Clarksville Schwinn & Fitness for their generosity, the American Red Cross for their good works and most importantly, we'd like to thank everyone who bought a chance on this bike!
